Separate article for attack

[edit]

I feel perhaps a separate article should be created for the 1994 Cobo Arena attack (possibly with that title). There is scattered information between multiple articles (mainly this one and Nancy Kerrigan). It easily fits WP:NOTABILITY and would make the information surrounding the attack easier to read. This article shouldn't be 25% about the attack. IWI (chat) 02:00, 11 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

I will begin to draft an article in my userspace. IWI (chat) 17:08, 11 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
I agree that this article puts a lot of emphasis on the attack, and while I recognize that this attack was a big part of her life, I believe that it is given undue weight here. I think it would be beneficial to give the attack its own article, as there are plenty of reliable sources on the case, and it is quite notable. Making a separate article for the attack will also allow the attack section in this article to be cut down and focus more on the other aspects of Harding's life.Username1616 (talk) 12:45, 15 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

She "could have..."?

[edit]

I gave up reading this after the second paragraph of the "Early life" section. She could have done this, or could have done that... Is there a source that says she did any of these things (in which case remove the "Could"), or is it just some unsubstantiated rumor (in which case remove the sentence)? I am afraid I have to quickfail this one based on WP:GAFAIL#3: It has, or needs, cleanup banners that are unquestionably still valid. These include {{cleanup}}, {{POV}}, {{unreferenced}} or large numbers of {{citation needed}}, {{clarify}}, or similar tags (See also {{QF}}) Specifically there are several unsupported statements including a whole subsection. As a rule, every paragraph needs to end with a relevant citation and every entry in a table needs to be associated with a citation for verification purposes. Moreover, the article must be free of pending tags, including the one under "Assault of Nancy Kerrigan and legal proceedings". Once these issues are addressed then please resubmit for GAN.
