    • As I said at DYKT, I think the setup of "Did you know that people posted comments on the internet about X" is an uninteresting fact to anyone without a specialist interest in this subject matter and thus fails WP:DYKINT. People post comments on the internet speculating about everything. While I wouldn't have objected if another queue mover had found it to meet DYKINT, another user also found this uninteresting and the nomination has now been pulled. The usual approach when DYKINT is questioned is for an alternative hook to be developed, and that's what I'd recommend here. There's also some WP:INUNIVERSE language in "Creation and background" that could be revised, and the overall text is somewhat inscrutable to anyone unfamiliar with this game. I took a look at the article to see if anything could be used as a hook, but right now it's pretty dense and hard to read, so that might also need to be addressed. With how long the article is, I can imagine it shouldn't be difficult to find a non Genshin fan-targeted hook. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 06:09, 4 July 2026 (UTC)

Since this hook fails on DYKINT, here's an alternate hook to consider: ALT1: ... that critics considered the apparent death of Tingyun to be the most shocking moment in Honkai: Star Rail?
