Medical ranks
[edit]I attempted to add a section on medical ranks and how that then ranks the characters (differently than they are listed in the cast section). That was not acceptable, so I have tried a single line before the cast list begins. Describing a character as "attending physician" or "resident" tells a person new to medical contexts nothing about how their position relates to those of the other characters. There is no single wikipedia page where that information is listed in one place (that I can find).
Another option might be to list the characters in a table, as they do in M*A*S*H* in order to include their ranks. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M*A*S*H_(TV_series)#Main_cast. Info about ranks/hierarchy would be valuable to the article since they never explicitly explain it in the show.

- Something needs to be done to keep the cast list up-to-date. Javadi is described as a “20-year-old third-year medical student” but in season 2 she is an MS4, and only days away from turning 21. Whitaker is now a first-year resident rather than an MS4. McKay, described as a “42-year-old second-year resident”, is now third-year and may or may not have had a birthday between seasons.
- Presumably the show will have a run of five or more seasons with much of the core cast intact, and the students and residents will continue to rise in yearly designation. A table, as you suggest — with a column for each season — seems to be the way to go. It might include some of the continuing characters with recurring status such as Perlah, Mateo (who is reportedly returning for S2 E12-15), Princess, Donnie, Ahmad etc. Status could be indicated by cell color, with a key. Lawsuit info
[edit]Information I added about the lawsuit (the case name, court, and judge) was removed by User:Drmargi as "not needed" with no further explanation. This sort of info is the minimum one would expect in a section about a lawsuit. -- Brad (talk) 16:04, 20 January 2026 (UTC)
- I support the removal. Those details are largely trivial in an article about the show. --ZimZalaBimtalk 16:54, 20 January 2026 (UTC)
- You pretty much hit my reasoning. Details like the judge would be included in an article on the lawsuit, but we only need key facts in an article about the show. --Drmargi (talk) 00:26, 21 January 2026 (UTC)
- We're talking about a specific sub-section for the lawsuit, though, not just the article in general. What I added are key facts. -- Brad (talk) 01:57, 21 January 2026 (UTC)
- But we aren't an WP:INDISCRIMINATE colleciton of facts. A subsection about a lawsuit only needs the essential information, not the minutiae. --ZimZalaBimtalk 04:04, 21 January 2026 (UTC)
- All we need in this article is the basics: who and why. That's sufficient to allow us to understand the nature of the lawsuit. If readers want more, they can look up the case and read about it. We're talking about the show here. --Drmargi (talk) 21:16, 21 January 2026 (UTC)

12 PM (season 2) summary -- possible LLM use?
[edit]The "12 PM" summary for season 2 currently includes "Jackson experiences another psychotic episode, which Dr. Caleb Jefferson manages with droperidol". I do not recall that happening, nor do I think we've seen Dr. Caleb Jefferson administer any medication; I believe that there was not even a second psychotic episode.
This doesn't seem like a plausible error for a human to make; is it possible this was a hallucination generated by an LLM? ~2026-19681-59 (talk) 14:31, 30 March 2026 (UTC)
Restoring infant cast credit for Luca and Luna Pinder
[edit]I would like to restore the guest cast credit for Luca and Luna Pinder, who portrayed Baby Jane Doe in Season 2 of The Pitt. This casting is verified by two independent, reliable sources:
1. Variety (May 13, 2026): https://variety.com/2026/tv/news/margos-got-money-troubles-the-pitt-baby-casting-1236747586/ 2. Business Insider (2026): https://www.businessinsider.com/newborn-twins-agent-greys-anatomy-the-pitt-2026-4
Both articles name Luca and Luna Pinder specifically, confirm their role as Baby Jane Doe, and note that Luca appears in the finale's concluding scene with Noah Wyle. Per Wikipedia's verifiability policy, this meets the standard for inclusion in the guest cast section. I will re-add the edit with both citations.

- The problem is, you listed them as main cast. They should be listed as guest cast in the cast article. Drmargi (talk) 06:22, 19 May 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you for the feedback. The main cast page doesn't appear to have a separate guest cast section. Could you point me to the correct location or the cast article you're referring to? I want to make sure this is placed correctly. JAnderson72 (talk) 21:17, 19 May 2026 (UTC)
