That category is a sub-category of Category:Writing systems, which is very big.

David Lynch connection
[edit]I removed an unsourced claim listing the script as an inspiration for the baby from Eraserhead. There's a slight resemblance between the script's side-facing figures and the baby, but I can't find anything to substantiate the connection.
