Reading versus writing
[edit]The article is confusing. How can the alphabet be written vertically and then read horizontally? As written, it sounds like reading English text by starting with the first word, reading every tenth word after that, then going back to the second word, then reading every tenth word after that, then reading the third word, etc. I know it's what the source says, but that doesn't make it any clearer.
