I think the problem is that we have no exact definition of a spitz - the AKC state 'There are between 50 and 70 distinct spitz dog breeds, but some aren’t easily categorized because there is no exact category definition.', I think we should remove the whole list of dogs or narrow it down to only dogs that are very clearly spitz type such as the Pomeranian or German Spitz.
