[edit]Sphingobacteria → Sphingobacteriia – The revised and accepted name since 2011 is Sphingobacteriia with a double "ii", by the International Committee on Systematics of Prokaryotes. Chhandama (talk) 15:23, 31 October 2014 (UTC)
- The authority is P. Kämpfer who proposed in 2011 (see the world's authority on such nomenclature here). See NCBI and NamesForLife. For the same reason Flavobacteria should be Flavobacteriia, as already proposed. Chhandama (talk) 15:24, 31 October 2014 (UTC)
