Hi everyone, I've noticed that an anonymous IP user keeps changing Simone Ashley's ethnicity from “Tamil” to “Malayali”. This is incorrect. Simone Ashley has stated in multiple interviews that she is of “Tamil Indian” descent, and this information is widely available from reliable sources on the internet. I just checked the wiki logs and realised that the editing to Malayali is a recurring issue, and just so weird. Wiki might have to find a way to stop such bizarre disruptive edits. 14.200.252.121 (talk) 11:16, 23 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
English or British, why is Wikipedia taking a side?

Use of the word "English" to describe Britons from ethnic minorities in England is complicated by most non-white people in England identifying as British rather than English. That is from Wikipedia. No, I am not Far Right or even white. Because usually that becomes a conflict of interest. Why are all the ethnic minorities now being called English? On the ground in the UK very few non-White people call themsleves English. That is reserved for the ethnic native English people. Either way, why is Wikipedia taking a side and using cats like English people as opposed to British? Inayity (talk) 07:24, 31 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
