Hi there, it seems to me that the situation involving Britney Spears mentioned under 'Public image' is not an appropriate inclusion in this article, but I have now learned that notability guidelines apply to new articles, not information in articles. While there are reliable sources for this information, it seems to be an extremely small incident in the grand scheme of Zegler's career (NB: amongst the great number of recent Tweets about Zegler, there appears to only be one user who has mentioned this incident in the past year). I think people usually use something like WP:DUE (although this is for topics with multiple viewpoints), WP:NOTGOSSIP seems more valid in this case. I'm not sure if it's strong case you can make (haven't read that part of the article), but it's a case.

She didn't "walk out" of that.. she is still performing in the tour.. she had to leave ONE PERFORMANCE because of illness... she is getting good reviews for her work there and her career is definitely not over. Spanneraol (talk) 12:47, 2 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

@DanielRigal I'm glad to hear that and it reassures me quite a lot.
Just some examples. The blurb about Snow White (2025) in Gal Gadot's article is "In 2025 she portrayed the Evil Queen in Snow White" the blurb in Rachel Zegler's article is"[...] the titular character in the musical fantasy Snow White (2025), which generated significant controversy and was considered to be a box-office bomb."
Is that not worth writing about further down in the career section?
Furthermore, I get that in Wikipedia articles and sources are used for everything to make sure that every sentence is as unbiased as possible. But that creates a problem when the source or the article is biased.
"Snow White producer Marc Platt voiced concerns about Zegler's Israeli co-star Gal Gadot receiving death threats, which they attributed to Zegler's post. This led Disney to provide additional security for Gadot.[75][76]"
I would argue that Marc Platt's previous comments on the issue have shown that he is not a neutral source on the topic but rather a producer with a gripe.
This was not a theatrical run, just a one-off charity appearance, where she was one of several performers. I doubt it received any reviews, and it is not noteworthy. -- Ssilvers (talk) 17:13, 20 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
