The following sentence (n.53) makes no sense: 'Robertson added that Jerusalem is a "spiritual symbol that must not be given away" because "Jesus Christ the Messiah will come down to the part of Jerusalem that the Arabs want," and this would be "not good."' I do not see anything particularly wrong with that sentence in the article. The text (quote and all) is taken almost exactly from the referenced source. There are not many ways to summarize what Robertson said. Any better phrasing would only come after finding a better source than what was used and one which had the full text of Robertson's remarks. Whether the text of the article "alleges that PR is opposed to the Second Coming happening at Jerusalem" (your statement) appears to be your conclusion, not necessarily that of Robertson, nor that of the WP article writer. It actually wasn't trivial at all. The Scripps Howard Celebrity Super Bowl Poll was something hundreds of celebrities participated in every year from 1986-2013. And Robertson joined notables like Arnold Palmer, Penn & Teller and Bob Weir by winning the Super Sage Award, as noted here: ScrippsNews He thought it was important enough for him to receive the award on his TV show. This page has plenty of information --- good and bad --- about him. I'd like to add information to Mr. Robertson's page about him winning the Scripps Howard Super Sage Award, as it shows a side of him that few people are familiar with. Day Creature disagrees. As it stand now, this Wikipedia page is allowing Pat Robertson to engage in stolen valor posthumously.
One reason I am personally upset with this page is that I had one uncle who served in Korea during the Korean conflict and another who served during the occupation. Also, I knew Dr. Birney Dibble who traveled on the same troupe ship to Korea. Dr. Dibble told me that Pat Robertson left the ship in Japan. Robertson later turned up on the Korean peninsula after an outcry. Out of respect to the memory of my uncles and Dr. Dibble, I would like to see some evidence that Pat Robertson actually served in combat before we allow him to claim that he was exposed to any sort of danger or hardship. Alternatively, a simple mention of the credible accusations of stolen valor (or whatever the correct terminology) referencing some of the above links or other links could also be appropriate.
