Change famous sentence to : "That’s one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind.”

The first source seems to say that the "a" part was not said by Neil, but the Nasa source says otherwhise :

At 10:56 p.m. EDT Armstrong is ready to plant the first human foot on another world. With more than half a billion people watching on television, he climbs down the ladder and proclaims: “That’s one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind.”

I suspect you're referring to my reversal of your edit here. I noticed your edit because it removed a file name (a rather famous one) from a {{Listen}} template. It also introduced a new "Notes" section, misplacing it after "References" instead of before. Those were the "other careless flaws" in my edit summary. To your point: I doubt that the comment, "Skin discoloration is caused by change in the proportion of deoxyhaemoglobin (blue-pigment):oxyhaemoglobin (red-pigment); known clinically as hypoxia causing cyanosis (missing a full stop here) with the malformed citation

We should change "Children:3" to the names of Neil's children.

Template:Infobox person: Typically the number of children (e.g., 3); only list names of independently notable or particularly relevant children. Names may be preceded by a number to show total children and avoid implying that named children are the only offspring. Compare with Michael Collins (astronaut), where one of his children is notable. Children etc missing from Personal Life

What is the point of the Personal Life section if the only reference to his first marriage is the end of it, and his children aren't mentioned at all?

The content is there, buried in the extensive other sections, but only if you search for it. This should obviously be included in Personal Life - probably before the paragraphs about his religious views and trip to Scotland, for consistency with most similar pages. ~2026-34153-87 (talk) 02:52, 8 July 2026 (UTC)
