This is preposterous, defamatory nonsense. Whoever wrote this provided obscure sources that are not representative of the view of the majority of Muslims. Female circumcision is not an Islamic tradition in any sense. It is/was a cultural practice associated with parts of Africa and the Middle East, with no connection to the religion of Islam itself. Muslims from other parts of the world are largely not even aware of the practice because of its irelevance to Islam. Here are legitimate sources, and I request that female circumcision be removed from this list as soon as possible. http://www.ali-gomaa.com/?page=scholary-output&so_details=22 http://www.minaret.org/fgm-pamphlet.htm http://www.islamreligion.com/articles/438/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.85.29.132 (talk) 00:30, 4 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Mustahabb or mandub

[edit]

Mandûb and mustahabb are terms that refer to the same ruling. http://en.islamtoday.net/node/1231 91.61.217.242 (talk) 15:21, 23 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

It already said that in the "Definition" section. AnonMoos (talk) 03:56, 25 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Lack of neutrality

[edit]

Added the banner for lack of neutrality because of the claim of Islam superiority, unsourced definition of "True Muslim" as well as other unsourced quotes, like "Islam" prescribing certain behaviour at funerals (what "islam", what verse, what hadith?) 2001:7E8:C053:B500:1091:E87D:462:D6F2 (talk) 00:34, 12 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
