As a Western author, who updated several links on this page. I do not know how to pronounce Qutb and would find such information useful on wikipedia pages such as this.

Which University?

[edit]

The reason for the confusion as to which university he taught at is most likely due to the fact that Umm al-Quraa was, until about 30 years ago, a branch of King 'Abdul 'Aziz University in Jeddah. Since that time, Umm al-Quraa has been an independent university. Simply determining the time period in which he taught would clear this issue up. Supertouch (talk) 18:08, 14 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Deceased?

[edit]

In the introductory paragraph it is stated that M.Q. died in 2004, however, at the end we read: "As of 2006 he was still alive and living in Mecca according to Lawrence Wright." The latter seems to be authoratative simply because it is referenced. Supertouch (talk) 22:23, 24 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

I'll delete the died in 2004. --BoogaLouie (talk) 21:26, 25 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
