You have Mac Miller listed as a rapper and record producer. This is inaccurate. Not only did he Rap, but he also sang. He also wrote his own songs. He played guitar. He played piano. Please include the fact that Jon Brion confirmed that Swimming and Circles were supposed to be part of a trilogy. He said in 2020 "...I believe the third one would have been just a pure hip-hop record. I think he wanted to tell people, ‘I still love this, I still do this.'".

I think this would make a good addition to the section that covers Swimming and Circles.

Combined Drug Intoxication COD

I believe that the fact he got counterfeit pills should be mentioned in his cause of death. He didn't just die from mixing drugs, he died because he was sold fake oxy that contained fentanyl. The crime should be mentioned. Dingushunk (talk) 12:58, 17 January 2025 (UTC)

This appears to be a request by User:Lomichael80 to merge the contents of Draft:Death Investigation of Mac Miller into this article. Parts of the draft may be appropriate to merge in, though I'm not comfortable relying so heavily on primary sources for a topic that affects WP:BLPs. For now, I am going to delete the text that was added to the talk page in this diff because it is going to mess up the archiving of this talk page. If another editor gets a chance to handle this request before I do, the text I am removing from this talk page is basically the entire contents of Draft:Death Investigation of Mac Miller. The primary sources for the topic draw from official, published records. There is no violation of the WP:BLP guidelines, as all the parties mentioned are extensively depicted in public records. The detail proposed in this amendment accurately describes the circumstances leading up to and following Mac Miller's death. Particularly emphasizing that Miller did not request fentanyl, but was instead given counterfeit pills without him knowing. That is too big a change to process through an edit request, which is supposed to be about uncontroversial changes. I'm not saying your changes are contentious, but I think that it requires further discussion, for example through a request for comment if you want to proceed. Prepare the list of things you want to merge into and how (e.g. in second paragraph, after second sentence add "blah blah blah" and remove "hahaha").

Also, technically you should be able to edit the page yourself. But you declare a conflict of interest, so you will need to proceed through Template:Edit COI to request edits to this article.

Regarding this text in the death section: "Thousands of fans held a vigil for Miller on September 11, 2018, at Pittsburgh's Blue Slide Park, the inspiration behind his debut album title;[118] the site continues to be a place of remembrance." Blue Slide Park is a playground, but it's a playground name within the larger park that's called Frick Park (just like the market Miller mentions in another song).

Please consider a small change to clarify for accuracy - I would propose maybe "Pittsburgh's Frick Park, the site of the Blue Slide Park playground Miller mentioned in his debut album title." While it may be somewhat known by locals or fans by its nickname of Blue Slide Park, it would be more accurate (and more helpful for anyone searching online or on a mapping app) to use the entire park's official name in there, as well. In the legal trouble section there should be something that acknowledges the debate between Donald Trump and Mac Miller, that was almost taken to court.
