Request: Move Production section
Request: Remove text Production section
The first Logitech mice, starting from the P4, were made in Le Lieu, in the Swiss Canton of Vaud[1] by Dubois Dépraz SA.[2]
Production facilities were then established in the United States, Taiwan, Hungary and Ireland before being moved to Suzhou, China. As of 2005[update], the manufacturing operations in China produce approximately half of Logitech's products. The remaining production is outsourced to contract manufacturers and original design manufacturers in Asia.[3] References
Request: Add information Production subsection
Production facilities were established in the United States, Taiwan, and Ireland before being moved to Suzhou, China.[1] Logitech started manufacturing in China in 1992.[2] It opened a new, larger manufacturing facility in Suzhou, China in 2005.[3]
Logitech's manufacturing started in Ireland and later moved to Taiwan, then finally to China.[4] Logitech since then has expanded production to Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, and Mexico.[5] In response to tariffs, Logitech shifted its production in 2025 for its goods sold in the United States. Prior to this, 40 percent of items sold in the United States were made in China.[6] By 2026, this was reduced to less than 10 percent.[7] References
Summary of request: Please consider adding an Operations section with a Production subheading to replace the current Production section. This would give an appropriate spot for corporate information and other broad details to and organize the information in a more logical way. The text proposed is either new or moved text and some information was removed due to sourcing issues. Please let me know if there are any questions, thanks! Logitech Maya (talk) 23:09, 20 July 2026 (UTC) Revised Product lines request[edit]
Add new information to proposed Products section
Logitech produces computer peripherals. Its products include mice, keyboards, webcams, audio equipment, and game controllers. Logitech sells products in 24 categories as of 2018.[1]
After initially starting with computer mice and later computer keyboards, by 2004 Logitech had expanded into other peripheral offerings.[2] Hewlett-Packard became its first large OEM customer in 1994.[3] By 2004, other large companies such as Apple, Dell, Sony, and Microsoft were also customers.[2] A series of acquisitions in 2008 bolstered its audio product offerings.[1] By 2012, Logitech started moving into video conferencing.[1] References

Logitech has two businesses: its mainline, eponymous offerings and the Logitech G gaming division for professional esports and casual gaming peripherals.[1][2] Product series under Logitech include MX [3] and Ergo.[4]
The MX series was launched in 2015 with the MX Master mouse.[5] The MX Master line has Mac specific version of its products.[6] The fourth iteration of the MX Mouse was revealed on the series' tenth anniversary and introduced haptic technology.[5] Logitech G HUB is the brand's app for controlling devices.[7] References

Please consider expanding the scope of the Product lines section to a more general Products section so other information has an appropriate spot to be placed. The information is unsourced, so the proposal updates it with sourced text within a Lines and offerings subheading. The beginning of the section adds new encyclopedic information not yet in the article. Please let me know if there are any questions, thanks! Logitech Maya (talk) 17:46, 29 July 2026 (UTC)
