Confusing when he also gets called Ritchie

[edit]

Surely the article should just use one name?Doug Weller talk 19:47, 9 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

@Doug Weller: is "Kid Rock" taken to be a single name (like The Weeknd) or is it the name "Rock" prefaced by the title "Kid" (like Lady Gaga)? If it's the former then his surname ought to be used, if it's the latter then just "Rock". ―Howard🌽33 11:57, 20 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
Single name. Doug Weller talk 13:29, 20 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
I suppose then the article should consistently use "Ritchie". ―Howard🌽33 13:31, 20 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
Another confusing issue is that the article fails to clarify at what point his professional name became "Kid Rock". (At least sufficiently early and prominently to dispel confusion.) Sławomir Biały (talk) 13:46, 20 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
