Was the Keyes Region split?

[edit]

I would assume something like this would be notable enough to be mentioned on this page, and am unsure if it has/will happen(ed) or not. The "location" map seems to depict the Keyes Region as only the left half of the territory I've seen it as, and all the other images on the page say "old bo(r)ders," so I have no idea. In case anyone is also wondering this, yes, the Keyes Region was split into Keyes, Kita and Nioro in 2012. I am unsure why this isn't specified within this article, but it's at least mentioned in the articles for the Kita and Nioro Regions. I might help specifiy this here if I have time (and want to), but for now, this works. Carking01 (talk) 03:46, 22 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
