Jennifer Aniston is the proud mother of her adopted daughter, Lia Gabriela, whom she welcomed into her life in 2024. Known for her iconic role as Rachel Green on Friends and her celebrated film career, Aniston embraced motherhood quietly and privately. In a surprising decision, she chose not to share news of the adoption with her friends or anyone in her close circle at first, wanting to cherish the experience on her own terms. Deeply committed to protecting her daughter’s privacy, Aniston has worked to ensure Lia Gabriela can grow up away from the spotlight, maintaining a balance between her high-profile career and her role as a devoted mother — Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.167.233.149 (talk) 21:08, 15 December 2024 (UTC)
Jennifer Aniston's decision to adopt her daughter, Lia Gabriela, in a private and personal manner. It highlights her choice to initially keep the adoption a secret from friends and those in her inner circle, emphasizing her desire to protect her daughter’s privacy. The description also touches on Aniston’s dedication to balancing her successful acting career with her role as a loving and protective mother, ensuring Lia Gabriela can grow up away from the pressures of public life. 190.167.233.149 (talk) 21:10, 15 December 2024 (UTC)
- This is written as if it's been quoted unaltered from a celebrity news site. Generally speaking, we don't engage in rhapsodic gushing about a celebrity's personal life - or their professional life, for that matter. This is an encyclopedia - not People or Variety. The entirety of this can be boiled down to a single sentence in the 'personal life' section: "In 2024 Aniston adopted a daughter". Followed by a citation to a reasonably reliable source. We also don't name children generally unless that are separately notable themselves. cheers. anastrophe, an editor he is. 22:03, 15 December 2024 (UTC)
No Filmography?
[edit]Why is there no filmography section? Perhaps creating one would be appreciated? 162.196.91.187 (talk) 01:46, 3 April 2025 (UTC)

Change the listing for Justin Theroux as her partner, he should be listed under Spouse from 2015-2018 195.213.186.198 (talk) 19:38, 15 April 2025 (UTC)

Jennifer aka Jenna?
[edit]Vanity Fair posted a YouTube video where Aniston sounds like she's introducing herself as Jenna Aniston (although captions say Jen Aniston). As long as "Jennifer Aniston" is her legal and professional name, i would keep the article title as is, but if she also uses a nickname, is that worth noting on Wikipedia? Vanity Fair posted the video showing Aniston talking about herself, so i assume this counts as a reliable source.

- I did a quick dive into this, and it seems that there may have been some 'shenanagins' at play in the past regarding the relationship in question. Under the "Relationships" section, two reliable sources state that they were married in 2015.
- In March of this year, a 'drive by' editor made vast claims (in their edit summary) that their marriage wasn't legally binding, removing reliable sourcing that stated otherwise, and not providing any sources for their claim.
- In May, another editor tagged the 'non binding' claim for lacking sourcing.
- Based on the lack of sourcing for the 'non-binding' claim, and the removal of sourcing confirming the marriage, I'm going to remove the claim, and restore the sourcing that previously accompanied the infobox entry regarding the marriage. cheers. anastrophe, an editor he is. 21:14, 29 November 2025 (UTC)
