Ordo Militaris
[edit]Ordo Militaris seems like it might be a realible larger organization but it seems that it's only has two members so is more of a personal blog and not a reliable source. This was investigated in a piece "Issues with (Br) Alexis Bugnolo, Ordo Militaris & FromRome" which gives full links for an investigation. >> M.P.Schneider,LC (parlemus • feci) 23:11, 11 October 2021 (UTC)
- Father Schneider has engagned in a multi year campaign to slander and calumniate members of organizations he disagrees with. Allowing him to vandalize this wikipedia article will only add to the legal liabilities of Wikipedia for defamation, libel and calumny, with reckless disregard for the truth >> https://catholicfamilynews.com/blog/2022/02/25/fr-matthew-schneiders-never-ending-lies/ ~2026-41470-79 (talk) 23:45, 24 July 2026 (UTC)
- IP,
will only add to the legal liabilities of Wikipedia for defamation, libel and calumny, with reckless disregard for the truth
is dangerously close to being a legal threat. - We can have a civil discussion about whether this organisation is real and meaningfully worthy of a mention here, without resorting to threats and anyway, it would be extremely unlikely that WP would be in legal jeopardy for questioning the bona fides of this organisation. Pincrete (talk) 05:23, 25 July 2026 (UTC)
- IP,
I have removed mention of the Ordo Militaris from the article until sources independent of the org itself can be found to establish its bona fides. Pincrete (talk) 05:31, 25 July 2026 (UTC)
- You have vandalized the article with reckless disregard for the truth of the bona fides status of this organization, since you can find their information at https://biz.sosmt.gov/forms/new/1349?type=business&sourceNum=D1041863 and verify letters of gratitude for their humanitarian work at https://www.ordo-militaris.us/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/SalvatoriansYaroundLetter.pdf Furthermore, to claim that an organization need to prove to YOU that it is bona fides independent of the Secretary of State which incorporated it and grants it a status in good standing, is merely an arbitrary excuse to vandalize this article. ~2026-41470-79 (talk) 10:44, 25 July 2026 (UTC)
- Mr. Bugnolo, you simply cannot keep adding your own website and organization to pages across Wikipeda. ~Darth StabroTalk • Contribs 13:40, 25 July 2026 (UTC)
- You are violating Wikipedia rules of conduct by making personal attacks and false claims, as any search of Wikipedia can prove. ~2026-41470-79 (talk) 13:53, 25 July 2026 (UTC)
- A simple "I am not Alexis Bugnolo and I am not associated with or a member of the leadership of the organization known as Ordo Militaris" would suffice here. ~Darth StabroTalk • Contribs 14:41, 25 July 2026 (UTC)
- We request Administrators to intervene since Darth Strabo is now sending harassing emails to participants in this thread. ~2026-41470-79 (talk) 14:41, 25 July 2026 (UTC)
- I have, in fact, sent no emails. I have made a guess based on information and belief that you have a conflict of interest with this organization. ~Darth StabroTalk • Contribs 14:42, 25 July 2026 (UTC)
- We can provide administrators with the email harassing a participant in this thread sent by Darth Strabo who is participating here under more than one alias ~2026-41470-79 (talk) 16:07, 25 July 2026 (UTC)
- Who emailed who? How do I allegedly have your email address? Who are you? ~Darth StabroTalk • Contribs 21:42, 25 July 2026 (UTC)
- IP, if you want to report another user's behaviour, WP:ANI is over there. Report anything you want, but expect to provide proofs of your claims.
- Otherwise, drop it with the vague threats, you are simply poisoning the well, when all we need is reliable coverage from sources independent of the organisation itself, detailing its purposes, activities, history etc. Pincrete (talk) 05:04, 26 July 2026 (UTC)
- Your so called proofs prove nothing about whether this is a bona fide religious charity/organisation that meaningfully does what you claim it does.
- Coverage of OM's purpose and activity in independent sources, such as for example the Catholic press, would be the minimum requirement for inclusion. We exist to provide reliably sourced info to readers, not to advertise sites/orgs of questionable notability. Pincrete (talk) 04:57, 26 July 2026 (UTC)
- There is no such thing as a Bona Fide rule at Wikipedia. Citing the claims of an organization are the way every court and newspaper prove the claim, they do not prove it through a newspaper. You are both involved in vandalism and we are giving you FORMAL NOTICE, as per Wikipedia rules, so that you can be sanctioned the next time you vandalize this article with fake rule violations. Both Pincrete and Darth Strabo seem to be Matthew Schneider. Sufficient proofs of 3rd party sources are already given. ~2026-41470-79 (talk) 13:53, 26 July 2026 (UTC)
There is no such thing as a Bona Fide rule at Wikipedia
. Everything on WP must be verified by reliable sources independent of the 'subject' of the article or text. In this instance, the most likely such sources would be the catholic press giving details of who OM are, what they do etc.You are both involved in vandalism and we are giving you FORMAL NOTICE, as per Wikipedia rules
firstly, who the fuck is 'we', secondly you clearly have no idea how WP works. I assure you however I have no idea who either Darth Strabo nor Matthew Schneider are. If you have proof to the contrary, this is the place to go, failing that YOU are the one who is in clear breach of innumerable WP rules. Now spare yourself and all of us a lot of wasted time and simply accept that you cannot insert the text you are doing without the aforementioned sources, and without the agreement of other editors (in my case, I have been editing this article since Hamel was killed). Pincrete (talk) 15:05, 26 July 2026 (UTC)- btw the other editor's correct name is Darth Stabro not Strabo.Pincrete (talk) 15:25, 26 July 2026 (UTC)

- This won't do; unsourced editing, personal attacks and overall disruption is not acceptable. I have indeffed 2026-41470-79, blocked the underlying IP for a month, and semi'd the article for a month. Bishonen | tålk 15:30, 26 July 2026 (UTC).
Bishonen, thanks for the various actions. I've just noticed that today is the 10th anniversary of Hamel's murder. Coincidence ????? Pincrete (talk) 15:48, 26 July 2026 (UTC)
Updates since 2019?
[edit]Our latest claim about the state of Hamel's beatification/canonisation process says "Archbishop Lebrun announced on 1 February 2019 that the diocesan inquiry for the beatification process would be solemnly closed on 9 March 2019."
. What does this mean? Does it mean they decided not to proceed with beatification? Or that they have made a decision but we don't have the information in the article? Or that they have finished all their enquiries but not announced a decision? Beorhtwulf (talk) 18:38, 11 July 2022 (UTC)
