It seems to be an uncommon word. The article isotypic component only deals with Lie algebra. too specific.
I got this definition:

That guy seems to know what he's talking about, at least much better than I do. - also in Alain Robert's book on representation theory is also a definition corresponding only to the example. - or in "The princeton companion to mathematics" p. 516
