Addition for the historical Western term of Iraq

I recently added the Historical western term for Iraq in the article, I got the inspiration from other articles for Example : Thailand, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Eswatini and Iran as all of these articles include the former/Historical name for these nations I felt that if I included the historical term it would make the article more consistent and also provide useful information. I had this idea, but then I read the etymology section of the article and it mostly explains how the name Iraq derives from Uruk through multiple Mesopotamian languages, not the etymology of Mesopotamia and I also noticed that in other Articles Wikipedia uses a some kind of traditional or standard way of mentioning the historical or former name of Nations so it seems up to standard written that way, but it is also a good idea of putting the etymology of Mesopotamia there as well, Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts.
