Cast incomplete - why?

[edit]

The cast list is very limited, I am not sure why that is. At least a note "incomplete" might be wise 213.142.96.42 (talk) 17:48, 20 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Why Inventing Anna Turns Its Victim Into a Joke

[edit]

In her Vogue review (see the main article), Hayley Maitland points out that unlike other major characters (with the exception of Anna of course), Inventing Anna represents real person Rachel Deloache Williams--with her real (then) employer, real location of her apartment, and real alma mater. But it shows major falsehoods about her that make her falsely appear ridiculous, shallow, hypocritical, and mean.

Hayley Maitland asks why the series does that to real person Williams--why it "turns its victim into a joke".

I say the reason is pretty obvious. It's all but certainly because Anna Delvey demanded that they make it that way. Let's remember that Inventing Anna is the product of Anna Delvey selling her story to Netflix. The deal wouldn't have happened without Delvey's consent. The only plausible explanation for the series' atrocious, highly defaming lies about Rachel Deloache Williams is that Delvey required it for the deal to happen. Lawsuit

[edit]

Hello, please add information about the lawsuit by Rachel Williams against Netflix (a, b). 190.99.107.218 (talk) 19:35, 27 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

I'll second that! Could someone who knows what they're doing please add that to the article? Greg Lovern (talk) 00:22, 10 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Title card vs poster

[edit]

I propose to change the title card to this poster. I believe it's a better representation of the miniseries as it shows the lead character and the implication of her deception and illegal activity in the miniseries TheVoicelessWriter (talk) 04:58, 25 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
