Just posted a draft article on the origins of the word Havai'i and how it is the former name of Raiatea, an island in French Polynesia.
Havaii was challenged as a word so this is just a very quick attempt at providing credible sources ... will need tidying up. Avaiki 03:57, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
