Flamsteed classified HD 40873 in the Camelopardali Heveliana constellation. The star is located in the 35th line of observed stars for that constellation in his catalogue. He neither number the star nor the line in which it was located. The number 35 arose from the widespread usage of his catalogue and the understading that it was a reference to the 35th line for that constellation. Americanplus (talk) 19:39, 4 November 2016 (UTC)
