  • Could a bit of background regarding the phylogeny of Corvidae be added, e.g. when was the Blue jay and green jay's common ancestor present? doi:10.1080/23766808.2017.1296751 or doi:10.1016/j.ympev.2015.08.020 might be useful.
  • I'm still on the fence on whether this should be a GA or a DYK; consider an article scope expansion to hybridization within Corvids, like Hybridization in shorebirds? doi:10.1038/s41559-019-0847-9, doi:10.18699/VJ19.487, and doi:10.1111/mec.15377 might be useful here.
