Merging is fine. Please note that I have gone through the trouble to make virtual displacement, lagrangian mechanics, virtual work, generalized coordinates, and generalized forces consistent with each other in terms of notation. Also, shouldn't the correct title of the article be "generalized forces" (plural)?ChrisChiasson 09:48, 29 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
