Separate out flea treatment/prevention to own section?

I'm thinking about separating out the flea treatment & prevention section into its own article, that can be referenced for both dogs and cats. Thoughts? Adelle Frank (talk) 03:23, 25 June 2012 (UTC)

List of Treatment products...

I'm concerned the list of treatment products by brand is inappropriate for an encyclopaedia article. Perhaps a separate article listing notable brands would be better, or no list at all (this isn't a shopping catalogue). There are also some instructional 'how-to' elements which aren't appropriate. i agree. I had expected a list of various brands in a chart with details. Also, the links are pathetic--surely there are more academic articles that provide basic details.
