Reason for Title Change

[edit]

I'm starting to feel curious on why Spielberg and Universal would change the title to "Disclosure". Should I ask them? Is it because of the existence of Australian projects called "The Dish"? That might make sense. Kaden Bayne Vanciel (talk) 06:40, 26 February 2025 (UTC)Reply

Universal has it listed as Untitled Event Film Directed By Steven Spielberg 173.230.86.28 (talk) 05:08, 3 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

Titles credibilty

[edit]
I'm more curious as to where the two titles originate from because i have not seen a single news outlet (that's trustworthy) or studio officially announce the title.
Steven Spielberg Movie Sets July 2026 Release Date this article among others does not specifically name the film because i don't think the title has been released.
Could we perhaps remove said title

KingArti and HM2021 World of Reel seems to be the source for the title change. Unfortunately, that site often makes up info. I'd suggest moving it back to untitled until there is some official confirmation. Krimuk2.0 (talk) 07:24, 1 March 2025 (UTC)Reply

No sources for Atlanta filming

[edit]

The article states that filming took place in Atlanta, but it cites no sources, and I can't find any specific media reports of filming there. Jamesluckard (talk) 09:20, 16 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Adding "The Dish" alternate name to the article

[edit]

There is a discussion at Wikipedia:Redirects_for_discussion/Log/2026_June_24#The_Dish_(2026_film) about whether this name should be added to the article. Rusalkii (talk) 01:46, 4 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

Alien

[edit]

We are not obligated to avoid the word "alien" simply because David Koepp did in his screenplay. It's a synonym for extraterrestrial. If some unsuspecting editor finds the usage of alien makes the plot synopsis less repetitive, no harm is done. I added Koepp's rationale for the choice to the article, per User:Movie Lover 111's edit note. Trumpetrep (talk) 04:23, 4 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
