Digital LegendsDigital Legends Entertainment – I propose moving this article from Digital Legends to Digital Legends Entertainment.

The article identifies the company as Digital Legends Entertainment. "Entertainment" appears to be part of the studio's full name rather than merely a legal suffix such as Inc., Corp. or LLC. Several video game studio articles use the full studio name when "Entertainment" is part of the recognizable name, such as Blizzard Entertainment, Obsidian Entertainment and Rovio Entertainment.

The current title, Digital Legends, should remain as a redirect. Chocococooo (talk) 03:46, 29 May 2026 (UTC)  Relisting. {{GearsDatapacks|talk|contribs|in solidarity}} 09:55, 5 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

  • Weak oppose. The resulting redirect would mean that the renamed article was no harder to find, so the move would do no damage. It's just a case of not fixing what is not broken. There is no policy-based argument proposed to support the move, and a search for Digital Legends Entertainment already gets this article as the first result. A redirect to this article from the proposed new name would be a good idea. Andrewa (talk) 05:40, 5 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
  • Comment. Just to add one point: the company’s current website branding also supports the proposed title. The website logo/header and footer use ‘‘Digital Legends Entertainment’’, while the contact page gives the legal name as ‘‘Digital Legends Entertainment S.L.’’. That suggests that ‘‘S.L.’’ is the corporate/legal suffix, while “Entertainment” is part of the branded studio name.

I agree that ‘‘Digital Legends’’ should remain as a redirect for the shorter form, but this official branding supports ‘‘Digital Legends Entertainment’’ as a recognizable, natural and more precise title under WP:CRITERIA. Chocococooo (talk) 15:04, 5 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

This official branding does nothing of the sort. Primary sources such as this have some relevance but are given very little weight against the other criteria. Andrewa (talk) 04:29, 9 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
