A general question on whether or not all versions of the dialectic have been covered by this article?

Am I mistaken in assuming that, as a child, I already knew about another version of the dialectic in which the practitioner posed the question to himself, "what prior thought preceded his current thought", and then asked in a sustained, and continuing sequential series what other thought preceded the previous thought, and followed this line of backwards reasoning to ultimately arrive at the original source of -- not only this particular line of reasoning, but also -- the Ultimate Source of *all reasoning*; hence, the source of all thoughts and of our rational mind....a transcendence of our material, temporal existence? Refiguring etc.

I am finding it difficult to understand what you mean. Only a very small proportion of the article is about anything American. You say "Refigured", without any context or explanation; the only use of that word in the article is in reference to Hegel, who was German. Can you clarify what you have in mind? Class Struggle?

The paragraph in the Marxist section includes the sentence "Nonetheless, Marx and Marxists developed the concept of class struggle to comprehend the dialectical contradictions between mental and manual labor and between town and country." This is not what class struggle is or what it was "developed to comprehend." The last 2 sentences of the paragraph seem like non sequiturs. I think the whole thing should be rewritten, or that sentence nixed and replaced with a proper transition from the first to last sentence. If someone knows what whoever wrote that was trying to say, feel free to correct me, but I think it should be rewritten either way Mitlantecuhtli (talk) 15:51, 30 March 2026 (UTC)
