Legacy Wording

[edit]

"From 1991 on, he established himself as one of the best rebounders of all time, never failing to average at least 15.0 boards in six of the next seven years." - "Never failing" should not be used if an exception has to be included (in which case, he did fail in one of those years). Simply removing this part of the sentence such that it reads "From 1991 on, he established himself as one of the best rebounders of all time, averaging at least 15.0 boards in six of the next seven years." makes more sense.

47-35 to 72-10 swing

[edit]

It said in there the Bulls with Rodman and Jordan returning from retirement improved the Bulls from 47-35 to 72-10. This statement is not accurate in what it implies. Michael Jordan came back the year before and was part of the 47-35 team. Rodman was the one who came in at the beginning of 1996.

Height

[edit]

I lived near Chicago during the "repeat Threepeat" while Rodman was there, and I seem to remember that they "corrected" what was initially an exaggerated height from the early part of his career, and listed him at 6'6". I can't find a source for what he was listed at as a Bull, but did find that ESPN and IMDB both have him at 6'6". [

Should the article be updated to reflect this?

Both Michael Jordan and Dennis Rodman are listed as 6'6". Have a look here: http://fingerfood.typepad.com/.a/6a012875949499970c0147e3b8ce20970b-300wi. There clearly is a difference. Basketball-reference lists Rodman as 6'7".

Uncited statements, including entire paragraphs. There are also unreliable sources used as inline citations like IMDB and tv.com. Z1720 (talk) 00:58, 3 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

Edit request - Diplomats movie never made

[edit]

"Rodman's "hoops diplomacy" inspired the 20th Century Fox comedy Diplomats. Tim Story and Peter Chernin are set to produce the film, while Jonathan Abrams is reportedly writing the script."

This is outdated info, the movie seems to have been dropped a long time ago, though I couldn't find a good source on why. The movie was definitely never made though. Might be worth dropping this paragraph entirely since it's hardly notable anymore. Thank you! Chrisnmook (talk) 00:43, 26 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
