Ryan who? Info cut out by cut + paste.

[edit]

In the last sentence of the section called Personal Life, a reference is made to someone who is attempting to do something very important, named Ryan, but having read the whole somewhat longish article, I have no idea who that is, or what role they reviously played in the subject's (Deveigh's) life.

The article's length is justifiable, and it is interesting, but I'll be darned if I'm going to reread the whole thing, just to find out who Ryan is, esecially since I don't believe that info is there anyway.

The unavoidable practise of cutting and pasting is why this happened, but usually we see a lot of repetition of info caused by it. Here is info accidently left out of an otherwise well written narrative.

Fixing this is way beyond my skills. I will gladly find the info on who Ryan is, and write a short phrase to insert, but I don't know how to insert it. I'm finding the process of learning to edit is much more time consuming than I'd thought it would be, so it isn't likely that I will figure out soon how to insert it. Someone should fix this though, as it's a big flaw in an otherwise very well written story. Do people agree? ~2026-34943-45 (talk) 14:56, 1 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

That is Chase's former manager John Ryan, as mentioned earlier in the article.--☾Loriendrew☽ (ring-ring) 15:10, 1 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
The info is there, from the second sentence of the personal life section, According to Chase's former manager John Ryan, Chase had a scheduled meeting. I've reiterated who Ryan is in Special:Diff/1362032261, other editors should feel free to remove it if they feel it's not an improvement.

@Fifteen thousand two hundred twenty four Thank you both for your incredibly quick replies! I have just found that info elsewhere, in this article: https://www.news.com.au/entertainment/celebrity-life/celebrity-deaths/harrowing-photos-of-former-child-star-before-death/news-story/3495f8b591d448185229dc88102e23e2
Part of my point is that nobody else is likely to remember any better than I did who Ryan is, given the fleeting earlier reference in a moderately longish article, and as I said, nobody is going to go back and reread it all. But it seems that so far the concensus is against a very minor edit, and that's ok with me.
I don't think adding 2 words, "her manager", would do any harm, and I would have just done it if I could, because I doubt it would have been removed. But since I can't do it, and you guys disagree with clarifying the point with 2 words, I will drop it. Thanks for your input. ~2026-34943-45 (talk) 15:25, 1 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
I did add that clarification, as linked above in Special:Diff/1362032261. fifteen thousand two hundred twenty four (talk) 15:28, 1 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
@Fifteen thousand two hundred twenty four Your responses are so lightning fast that by the time I've got 2 sentences written, you've already done a task and replied regarding it. I'm sorry that I type so slow. You are much more efficient than I am. LOL! Thanks very much for your help! ~2026-34943-45 (talk) 15:33, 1 July 2026 (UTC) ~2026-34943-45 (talk) 15:34, 1 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, I see that you did add it. And it looks great to me. Nobody will remove that. It is just a minor point, but I felt it needed clarifying, so thanks very much for doing it! ~2026-34943-45 (talk) 15:29, 1 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

LLM use in this article

[edit]

Editor KellyKiss has been shown to be a sockpuppet of the editor described in this AINB case: WP:AINB § User:1january2000. They contributed a large amount of text to this article. Spot-checking suggests there are source/text mismatches. I hope that local editors can clean this up. It is too intertwined for me to delete wholesale, especially at this time.
