Referencing
[edit]Need assistance with referencing article. The original article before I edited it had only included information about the American terminology of dance studio which is a dance school in its European equivalent. I have just tried to include some general knowledge statements on the european term of dance studio, hence the practice space etc, but don't know what you would suggest I reference.
One thing to note, I had included a link to the Harlequin floors website, which does actually feature a lot of information about dance floor coverings and construction, but this has been removed, even though it is a valuable resource for people that might have an interest in that.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Crazy-dancing (talk • contribs)

Your link to the home page Harlequin Floors calls for the natural "huh?" reaction. You must link only to pages where some text directly useful to the article in question sits. In any case, this reference (afrer several clicks to go deeper inside) may be useful for the article dance floor (which, as you see, is missing), rather than for the "dance studio".
I will try to find some references for the term "dance studio", but since the word is very common it will take some time to find something useful in the internet. `'Míkka 01:12, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
Sorry so late getting back on this, but thanks for your comments, will also look for some info sources. Reason I added the link to Harlequin floors here as opposed to a 'dance floor' aticle is because it relates directly to studio and performance dance flooring, whereas the term dance floor is more commonly attributed to such as a ballroom dance floor for example. Harlequin create flooring that is very specific to a dance studio or stage surface. Do you think there is a way of wording it to make this clear? Crazy-dancing 01:44, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
