Range extension and potentially living?

[edit]

Alexander W.F. Banfield (1974) and Richard Nowak (1995) have a maps of wolves in Canada which features a more extensive range for this wolf subspecies and Goldman gives specimens in Swindle Island and Calvert Island, which are outside the C. l. fuscus range in the map in his 1944 book. I'm not sure if wolves are still around in Swindle Island but are present in Calvert Island. That Northern Irish Historian (talk) 02:40, 10 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

This source says they are extant and living in BC https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s10592-014-0687-8. That Northern Irish Historian (talk) 17:50, 24 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
