I am astonished there there is no discussion about the lemma. Or did I miss it? There are about a thousand Cairo editions of the Quran (both Hafs and Warsh). E.Conidi calls it "Bulaq Press Quran", some call it wrongly "Amiri Edition" because they think it refers to Amir Fu'ad, but it refers to the Press, hence "Amiriyya Edition". I noticed that the English article attributes the development of the 1924 Cairo Edition of the Quran primarily to Al-Azhar. However, historical records and other Wikipedia versions, such as German and French, emphasize the pivotal role of Egypt's Ministry of Education and its directors in this process. Specifically, Nazif Hifni Bey, a key figure in the initiative, was primarily concerned with making the Quran accessible to graduates of state schools. as source is given: Stefan Wild. Wild just all the King Fu'ad edition "Azhar sponsored", which is not correct. I was government (Ministry of Education) sponsored -- as shown in the imprint and the embossed stamp on the first page. There was not commitee at all. It was all done in 1924 by al-Ḥusainī al-Ḥaddād.
