Set during the India–Pakistan War of 1971, Border 2 follows the intertwined journeys of four Indian Armed Forces officers as they confront the outbreak of war and defend the nation on multiple fronts. As tensions escalate between India and Pakistan, the trio of young officers and their mentor are thrust into combat. Hoshiar leads ground forces in the Jammu region, Sekhon engages in aerial dogfights to secure Indian airspace, and Mahendra commands naval operations in the Arabian Sea. Their personal bonds deepen as they share training, camaraderie, and the emotional weight of duty, even as their families back home cope with the uncertainties of war. 

Major battles erupt across land, air, and sea, pushing the soldiers to their limits and demanding extraordinary bravery. Sekhon engages hostile jets and makes the ultimate sacrifice, while Mahendra’s naval leadership staves off a critical maritime assault. Meanwhile, Hoshiar faces overwhelming odds on the battlefield, driven by his longing for his newborn child and wife.
