Coordinates

[edit]

Is there a policy for what coordinates to use. I'm not sure where the current coords came from, but they are not the geonames coords of 33.89332, 35.50157. Should we use the UN official coords of 33.898316, 35.505696. Thanks PalauanReich (talk) 16:31, 19 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Area

[edit]

There are continued discrepencies within the very same articles about the land area covered by city governments. In the infobox for this article, it says that the "capital city and municipality" of Beruit measures 67 sq km. In the "Geography" section it says:

"The Beirut Governorate occupies 18 square kilometres (6.9 sq mi), and the city's metropolitan area 67 square kilometres (26 sq mi)."

Which is it? The governorate is the municipality as it relates to administrative boundaries. Criticalthinker (talk) 02:14, 7 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation

[edit]

Could someone insert a disambiguation statement for Beirut (band)? Ghost writer's cat (talk) 02:46, 28 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

We already have "For other uses, see Beirut (disambiguation)", on which Beirut (band) is already included. That's enough. NebY (talk) 10:37, 28 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
No, users can lookup Beirut (band). If you mean redirecting this page through a disambig page then forget about it ~2026-13246-31 (talk) 21:30, 28 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
