The tone of the draft article was somewhat promotional in tone, and there may be an undeclared COI involved. As AFC editor, some of this wording has been amended but further work in this area would improve the article. ChrysGalley (talk) 12:47, 16 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
Nearly right, but it is a bit finicky, and I've corrected it now. The banner can/should go once a few other editors have decided it is neutral and in a good place as far as tone is concerned. By all means prompt me if you think that has happened. At this stage, if you want to make changes to the article, perhaps to make it more encyclopedic, then you best suggest them here and then a passing editor can do the work on the main article. Thank you for sorting this out. ChrysGalley (talk) 15:07, 16 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

Dear editor, the warning has been on this article for a while. I had notified the editor of a conflict of interest etc, and I think that everything should now be in line with your rules. Would it be possible to have this banner removed? Many thanks! M.J. Magee (talk) 18:12, 4 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
I was just about to remove the tag. And then I noticed this edit. Where you listed the subject (yourself?) in a list of "[writers] who have come to the fore in a 2000s revival of women's writing in Northern Ireland". Without any references or attribution. Before the COI tag is removed, are you confident that you have read and understood the guidelines on editing Wikipedia in your own interests? Personally I still see less-than-neutral edits on subjects with which you have a declared connection. Guliolopez (talk) 20:25, 4 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
