I like the article and the hook, it satisfies the length, originality and hook format and content criteria. Just two comments

  1. The article reads a bit like an ad with sentences like "She has been open about her experience"? What were the reasons she lost the nomination?
  2. Did she grow in the inner city of Rochester or Philadelphia?

Alaexis¿question? 21:14, 19 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thanks! In that case probably we don't need to explain that in the article.
I've asked where she grew up because the Inquirer calls her a "Philadelphia native," maybe you can double check that?
Btw apologies for not leaving a message at your talk page after reviewing the nomination. Alaexis¿question? 22:18, 20 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Alaexis:, as all of the other sources say that she was raised in Rochester, I take that line in the Inquirer to be in error.  Muboshgu (talk) 16:01, 23 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
In that case I see no issues with the nomination. Thank you for your work on the article! Alaexis¿question? 17:58, 23 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
