Lead image

Feel like the jack-o-lantern image is not very good; the video of the person doing the gesture, as well as the pic of the kid doing it at NASA, would be better. It's not just the numbers that are part of the meme, it's the gesture and tone of voice as well. grapesurgeon (talk) 07:10, 19 August 2026 (UTC)

I changed it to the NASA photo and removed the jack-o-lantern one. We definitely need an image that shows the actual gesture to properly represent the article subject. Day Creature (talk) 21:55, 26 August 2026 (UTC)

Yes, but the current lead image is a little unclear at a distance/small size (maybe should be cropped). I don't mind it too much. Hm maybe I'm misremembering. Personally, I think we should aim for one floating element in the lead. Imagine if World War II didn't have an infobox but had like a series of 3-4 images in the lead; imo visually unappealing and a bit distracting. it has a improper synthesis tag for no original research.

I don't see the synthesis in question, how is a distorted picture of a kid related to a fountain pen. i think it's just clearing confusion between 2 similarly named things.
