PS5 release date

[edit]

The digital release on PS5 is the 26th May. While advertised as ‘early access’ in fact everyone who buys the game up to and including the 26th gets its on the 26th. The PlayStation Store also lists the release date as the 26th (source). Should this be mentioned in the article? Dell9300 (talk) 15:48, 26 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

COI edit request

[edit]

Hello! Delphi Interactive (linking that to the draft currently in AfC review; I welcome any feedback on that as well!) has hired me as a COI editor, and I would like to request the following edits to this article.

Lead

Update

007 First Light is a 2026 action-adventure video game developed and published by IO Interactive.

to

007 First Light is a 2026 action-adventure video game developed and published by IO Interactive in association with Delphi Interactive.[1][2]
Development

Add the following sentence to the beginning of the fifth paragraph (before "IO Interactive added a new proprietary..."):

Delphi Interactive brokered the IP licensing deal with Danjaq, the holding company that owns Eon Productions, and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer for IO Interactive.[3]
Release

Update the first sentence from:

IO Interactive held a livestream on 19 November 2020 to announce their next game following the then-upcoming Hitman 3 (2021),[4] which concluded with the reveal of Project 007, a new James Bond video game with an original story developed and published by IOI, in collaboration with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and Eon Productions.[5]

Partly done: Implemented the Lead section update as requested. The Release section was already updated. I added the requested info to the development section, but moved it to the paragraph that already discusses licensing with some wording changes. It seemed out of place between the paragraph discussing the completion of development and the paragraph discussing ray tracing systems.

If any changes need to be made, please mention them and re-open this edit request. FlammablePizza (talk) 23:03, 30 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
