Owjad (Persian: اوجاد)[a] is a village in Shakhenat Rural District[4] of Shakhenat District in Birjand County, South Khorasan province, Iran.

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 89 in 36 households, when it was in the Central District.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 57 people in 29 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 81 people in 43 households.[2]

In 2021, the rural district was separated from the district in the formation of Shakhenat District.[7]
