Aysak (Persian: آيسك)[a] is a city in, and the capital of, Aysak District[b] in Sarayan County, South Khorasan province, Iran.[7] It also serves as the administrative center for Aysak Rural District.[8] The village of Aysak was converted to a city in 1999.[3]
Demographics

[edit]At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 5,023 in 1,399 households.[9] The following census in 2011 counted 4,756 people in 1,488 households.[10] The 2016 census measured the population of the city as 5,143 people in 1,639 households.[4]
