Conflict of interest declaration

[edit]

I am the subject of this draft. I have declared this in line with WP:COI and am submitting through Articles for creation so that an uninvolved editor reviews it rather than creating the article directly.

The draft deliberately omits several claims that appear in my own press kit — support slots, artist testimonials and Beatport chart positions — because they are self-published and not independently verifiable. I would rather the draft be short and accurate than long and promotional. Rxt64 (talk) 05:22, 27 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Depeche Mode support slot: source note for reviewers

[edit]

Raising this transparently rather than putting it in the draft, because I cannot source it to the standard required.

La República reported that Depeche Mode themselves selected six Costa Rican acts to open their 8 October 2009 concert at Autódromo La Guácima, on the Tour of the Universe:

Barrantes, Carolina. "Seis bandas ticas le abrirán a Depeche Mode", La República, 18 September 2009, p. 28. The selected acts were El Parque, Anemonah, Sociedad Secreta, Kabuto & Koji, Flying Pancake and Dúo Mattellica. The promoter Think Tank confirmed the acts were chosen by the band after listening to each one's songs.

La Nación covered the same concert on 8 October 2009 and described Sociedad Secreta as "un proyecto donde el DJ Dr. Leo se apoya con varios músicos".

I am connected to Sociedad Secreta, but no reliable source I can find names the group's members, so the connection cannot be verified and I have deliberately left the claim out of the draft. Searches of the Prensa CR newspaper archive for "Sociedad Secreta" return only this concert coverage and unrelated uses of the phrase. Noting it here in case a reviewer is aware of a source that lists the line-up. Rxt64 (talk) 06:52, 27 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
