Turing Complete is a 2021 circuit simulation and puzzle video game developed by Linuz. It was released in early access for Linux, macOS, and Microsoft Windows on October 2, 2021.[1]
Gameplay
[edit]Turing Complete is a logic puzzle game where the player designs digital circuits. The game provides a drag-and-drop interface with a schematic canvas. Players connect components using wires and buses to create functional circuits that meet specific requirements.
The progression starts with basic logic gates, such as NAND, which are used to build AND and OR gates. These are later combined to form multiplexers, memory registers, and an arithmetic logic unit (ALU). The final stages of the game involve designing a programmable central processing unit (CPU) and writing code in assembly language to execute instructions. Circuits are validated through an automated testing system before the player can advance to the next level.
