NGC 933 is a Spiral galaxy in the constellation Andromeda. It is discovered by Lewis Swift on September 11, 1885.[1] It was describe by J.L.E. Dreyer as extremely faint, extremely small, round, bright star to northeast.[2] NGC 933 has a diameter (Kiloparsec) of 47.52, indicating it is a large galaxy.[3]

NGC 933 is considered to be part of a galaxy group known as LGG 57. It has at least 3 members, which are NGC 933, IC 1799 and UGC 1867.[4]

NGC 933 is an Active Galactic Nucleus candidate.[5]
