Garten Of Banban Is a Mascot Horror game that was created by the Euphoric Brothers in 2023.[1]
Background
[edit]Garten Of Banban was created by Euphoric Brothers Ghepo and Faris in 2023 and was later followed up with Garten Of Banban 2 later that year. Garten Of Banban 2 was the first installment to have voice acting by Ghepo and Faris and many others.[2]
Lore
[edit]The Garten Of Banban lore is mainly taken from pages found throughout the games. The lore is about a Kindergarten hosting a holiday named "Bring-A-Friend Day" Where you could bring your friend to the garten, during the event the Ballpit in the Kindergarten collapsed killing most children while some (of whom were not in the Ballpit at the time of the collapse) The children who survived were taken by Opila Bird and Banban and were saved by Stinger Flynn. Also the person you play in the games (apart from Garten Of Banban 0 of which you play Flumbo) is the Mother of two of the children who survived (According to the pages you find throughout the games) and the game is mainly about the Mother trying to find her lost Children.
Reception
[edit]Garten Of Banban was originally taken with bad reviews due to it's lack of details and it was really rushed. Metacritic said "Garten of Banban 1 isn’t a very good game. It looks fine, it’s short, but it’s far from scary. It is however, unsettling, complete with pretty decent puzzles, happily dangling the carrot just enough that you want to continue on."[3] Jimquisition Said "Banban, for many people, will have appeared out of nowhere, suddenly dominating toy shop aisles with stuffed facsimiles of the series’ horrendous looking things. Since just last year, seven games have been churned out, each a minimum viable product designed not to be played by its target audience, but watched."[4] . The game's fan reviews were mixed with some stating that the first 6 games were rushed and were a low-effort "cashgrab" and had a unpolished character animation.
