Base 10 is the smallest base where it is palindromic. It only has the digits 0 and 1, which means it can be interpreted as a binary number read in base 10.[3]
All of its powers below the fifth power (and above negative powers) are also palindromic, and like all numbers of the form 10x + 1 (x is an integer, x > 1), its powers spell out rows of Pascal’s triangle, as depicted in the table below (placeholder zeros are depicted in subscript to make numerical sections corresponding to Pascal’s triangle more noticeable).[4][5]
