Yobe State House of Assembly is the legislative arm of the Yobe State Government. It is a unicameral body consisting of 24 members elected into 24 state constituencies and presided by a Speaker.The assembly is responsible for enacting laws, Providing Budgets and Overseeing the activities of the State Government under the 1999 Nigerian Constitution.[1] The current Speaker of the house is Hon. Chiroma Buba Mashio.[2] The age of voting is 18.
