This is a collection of discussions on the deletion and merging of articles related to Minnesota. It is one of many deletion lists coordinated by WikiProject Deletion sorting. Anyone can help maintain the list on this page.

Adding a new AfD discussion

Adding an AfD to this page does not add it to the main page at WP:AFD. Similarly, removing an AfD from this page does not remove it from the main page at WP:AFD. If you want to nominate an article for deletion, go through the process on that page before adding it to this page. To add a discussion to this page, follow these steps:

1. Edit this page and add {{Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/PageName}} to the top of the list. Replace "PageName" with the relevant article name, i.e. the one on the existing AFD discussion. Also, indicate the title of the article in the edit summary as it is particularly helpful to add a link to the article in the edit summary. When you save the page, the discussion will automatically appear.
2. You should also tag the AfD by adding {{subst:delsort|Minnesota|~~~~}} to it, which will inform editors that it has been listed here. You may place this tag above or below the nomination statement or at the end of the discussion thread.

There are a few scripts and tools that can make this easier.

Removing a closed AfD discussion

Closed AfD discussions are automatically removed by a bot.

Other types of discussions

You can also add and remove other discussions (prod, CfD, TfD etc.) related to Minnesota. For the other XfD's, the process is the same as AfD (except {{Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/PageName}} is used for MFD and {{transclude xfd}} for the rest). For PRODs, adding a link with {{prodded}} will suffice.

One-time candidate for Congress who did not receive significant coverage. A 2010 AFD produced "keep" under looser standards, and a 2012 AFD produced "no consensus," so it seems worth revisiting given the self-promotional aspect of the page and the lack of notability. As an alternative, the page could be redirected to 2010 United States House of Representatives elections in Minnesota#District 3. PA Uploader (talk) 01:34, 11 August 2026 (UTC)

• Weak Keep I added a couple of minor sources with some more news about the group. From what was already there, the Southwest Voices piece looks in-depth at over 1300 words. And the Minneapolis Times did an in-depth analysis of the group's platform. Mike Gauya (talk) 22:58, 3 August 2026 (UTC)

  The Minnesota Times appears to be a blog or self-published site of some kind. I could find nothing about the site itself that indicates that it is a reliable source.--User:Namiba 13:36, 4 August 2026 (UTC)

• Delete per nominator, appears to fail WP:ORG/WP:GNG. Most sources in the article are primary, routine election mentions, WP:UGC, or non-independent. The two sources noted in the previous vote are flawed: the Southwest Voices piece is a single local profile, and I would question the Minneapolis Times' reliability and it has no reliability consensous on Wikipedia. • Keep This is an active political organization. It has coverage from MPR News, Axios, and the Star Tribune, all of which are to my knowledge, reputable sources. I can agree with criticism that there are too many primary sources and not enough primary sources, but that is what the 'sources' template already on the article is. • Delete Collectively, the sources do not provide the WP:SIGCOV of TCDSA required by WP:GNG, as the independent articles largely focus on particular elections, controversies, or activities involving the group rather than providing substantial coverage of TCDSA itself.
